Jonathan Roche is an Award-Winning Fitness Expert, Best-Selling Author, a 23-time Boston Marathon Finisher (running 22 of them to raise funds for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute) and a 12-time Ironman Triathlon Finisher. Jonathan is the Founder and CEO of Breakthrough Health, Inc. and the creator of Energy UP. His first book (“The No Excuses Diet”, which is an Anti-Diet book) hit #3 on the Amazon Best Seller List and was featured on The Today Show. He is currently finalizing his second book titled “The 12 Key Habits to Permanent Weight Loss!” that will be released in April of 2019. Garrison Everest guided Breakthrough Health through the brand development process that included the naming of the company and the development of its flagship product; Momentum – (now the No Excuses Workout System). The patented No Excuses Workout System or NEWO – the only fitness and weight loss product based on interval training, heart rate monitor and the support mechanisms to help members maximize their workout time, stay motivated and eat right.
Through our efforts, Breakthrough Health was able to sell its Momentum brand to Weight Watchers in the Summer of 2008 – validating Garrison Everest’s brand development process. In the process, Breakthrough, now in its third iteration of its initial offering is transforming a new category in the health and wellness space through online coaching and interval workouts.
